What do I do if I am charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child in Texas?

Continuous sexual abuse of a child is obviously one of the worst types of cases to be charged with (and defend) in Texas.  Our civilization as a whole tends to protect our children.  This accusation is extremely serious.

The first thing to do is hire an attorney to protect you.

Many times when you are charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child you are automatically guilty in the public’s eye.  Forget any “innocent until proven guilty” law that exists, you are fighting from behind on this one.  It is imperative to get ahead of the curve and start working on these cases as soon as possible.

It is very important to get all the discovery in these cases, see all the interviews, and conduct your own investigation.  We get a team together to fight these types of cases.  Your life is on the line, and we need to be prepared for that.

You should obviously do no interviews with police or media, and should allow your attorney to handle all of that for you.  I have represented guilty individuals, and I have represented individuals who were 100% innocent.  Every case is very different.  Call my office and set up a meeting with me.  We need to talk about your case, the nature of the relationship of those involved, and make a plan of action.
